President George W. Bush’s press secretary, Dana Perino, told reporters at the White House this afternoon that “the President will travel to St. Louis, Missouri this Friday; the topic will be on the economy…”

Details, such as time and location, will come later, she said.

Here’s the wire service account:

“WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush will visit St. Louis on Friday to deliver remarks on economy.

“The White House did not immediately provide details about where and when the speech would be held.

“Bush last traveled to Missouri in February, when he visited Kansas City to press Congress to boost the sagging economy with a plan of tax rebates.”

Jenifer you said “I never once said that my party was superior” Well then what was the comment “if anyone but a republican wins the election then god help us all” I hate to break but if that doesnt blatenly state the intended supperiority of your own party then I don’t know what would. I would like to think that god really doesn’t care who how you vote. I do not expect you to understand this, because you clearly have trouble undestanding simple things. Such as the construction of logical thought. I mean how esle could you call the death of thousands of American soldiers, the tanking of the economy ( I lost my architecture job in the housing downturn so don’t tell me it didn’t affect me) the failure to capture Bin Laden, the eroding of international opinion, the steady fall of the dollar a “great job”? a “great job”? Time will be the test but I am certain that President Bush will go down as the worst president in history! God bless the whole world! not just US republicans.

To everyone..

I didn’t post the one about the war. Someone apparently thought they were being funny. My assumption would be that it was from someone who has no respect for our Military. I, however, proudly served my country and would never post something so sick.

President Bush is welcome any time in my St. Louis. Those who make childish and inane remarks add nothing to the debate. It shows how shallow they are.

So George Herbert Walker Bush III is coming to town to talk about the economy.

I think we can safely assume he will again choose some of the same fora he has used before — a private club far away from the press and public. Of course there will be some type of public stand-up at some “factory” where he’ll allude to his support for the “working person”.

Undoubtedly he will tell us he is glad that the “economic stimulus checks are in the mail”. Of course he will also go ahead and encourage everyone to “spend them to stimulate the economy”. Oh, yes, I forgot, the standard line why the wealthiest 1% need yet another tax cut.

Jennifer, I agree with you that far too many people have been living beyond their means and need to cut up their credit cards and go back to a cash only style of transaction. Unfortunately, right now “living beyond your means” has come to trading off the rise in gas and food prices with just about everything else.

I can not believe that there are people that seriously stick up for this joker. Bush has made America into the most hated country in the world. I can’t even comprehend that fact that people still see this “war” in Iraq as justifiable. All the money we have thrown away over there, think of all the things that money could have done here. No, Bush just wants to make daddy proud and clean up a mess started over 20 years ago by the same people that have us right back over there. Really to call this man a good president is like saying Charles Manson is an outstanding citizen.

Oops, I misused two different President Bushes (sic) name. Of course I was referring to the current one George Walker Bush, not the one who is his father and who actually showed up for his military service sober.

Take your blinders off, Bushies. And stop watching Fox News. This stupid selfish power hungry tyrant is not welcome in our city. Oh and you know what? Support the troops, lets get them out of this pointless, ruthless war and bring them back home. I have family and friends over there who are selfless enough to do their duty ang God Bless them for it. I am so sick of people’s complacency.
