Huckabee to address anti-abortion group here

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Mike Huckabee - remember him? - will be in town next month, headlining the fundraising diner for a local anti-abortion group.

Though Huckabee seems to have fallen off the vice-presidential radar screen, he’s still a hot ticket, especially in conservative circles - runner-up to the GOP presidential nomination is no small accomplishment.

The former Arkansas governor will be in St. Louis on May 8, speaking to the Vitae Caring Foundation, a sort of publicity arm of the Missouri anti-abortion movement. The group produces commercials that seek to present an alternative to abortion.

Being honored at the dinner are Bebe C. Kennedy, a retired school counselor, and inn magnate Charles L. Drury, along with his wife, Shirley.

The dinner — co-chaired by Ed Martin, Gov. Matt Blunt’s former chief of staff, and KTRS chief Tim Dorsey — is at the Hilton next to Busch Stadium.

Mike Huckabee won the hearts of many and galvanized a new breed of conservative voter.
He is NOT GOING AWAY anytime soon! His supporters are still very active and supporting him in whatever avenue he takes and toward 2012 presidential election.
The media and establishment GOP have lost touch with the real conservatives, and do not represent the traditional values Mike represents.
Mike Huckabee is the new conservative leader, and everyone better get ready for it!
If McCain chooses Mike for his VP, it will balance the ticket and bring in the southern states votes that McCain desperately needs. Mike will give McCain the aspects that McCain lacks: strong communication skills, strong border security, strong support for pro-life and traditional marriage issues. The biggest thing: McCain LIKES and TRUSTS Mike Huckabee. What a team!

Ditto to what “Debra’s” comment! Mike Huckabee has a HUGE base of support from pro-life, pro-family, and pro-faith Americans! Just go to his website and you will witness the loyal millions who are waiting for his call. We represent the families and individuals who still know how important it is to value life; value family and the belief in God! We are no longer going to be a silent majority! Mike’s presence and solid, truthful message has helped us to organize ourselves…we need to step up to the plate and reclaim America! And, who better to lead us than the charismatic, personality-plus, Mike Huckabee! Without a doubt, Mike IS the true conservative we’ve all been looking for!!! Mike Huckabee for v.p.!!!!

Dear Senator McCain,

Congratulations on winning the Republican nomination. We greatly appreciate your years of service both military and politically. Thank you.

Our country is on the brink of a moral collapse. Liberals are trying ruthlessly hard to keep good morals out of America. They know it will prohibit them from their selfish desires (abortion, greed, euthanasia, devaluing life, terrorising, murder, cheating, pride, etc).

You can have the most economically best country in the world, but if it has no morals, then it is no longer human. It will collapse because of greed and survial of the fittest.

Morality is the foundation to a society, the human existence. Humans can not live by economics alone, but it can live by morality alone. Economics is the frosting on the cake, but the bread (morals) below it is the foundation of the cake.

This great nation of ours is falling like a huge Sequoia tree. You can hear the fabric of the tree breaking apart now. Unless we refocus and redouble our efforts on morality, it will crash.

Mitt Romney is wanted by many economic conservatives. But that is not what America needs now, it needs someone who is a true social conservative. Someone that can keep America on the path of good morality so we can stay strong.

In the early days America pursued changes based on putting more money into something. We have learned from our competetion overseas, we nee to work smarter not harder. America government needs to redirect it’s effort to running a “lean government” not a “big government”.

Mike Huckabee showed America first hand, how to run a super lean organization that placed in 2nd place. Mike knows first hand how to run a lean organization and with 10 years experience as a Governor, he can help America recover to it’s economic greatness. Mike knows how to run a government on 1/10th of how the money Wall Street executives use to run a organization.

Please strongly consider choosing MIke Huckabee as your Vice President. His passion, humor and social convinctions goes far beyond any other candidate out there.

Please don’t let the wealthy economic conservatives twist your arm into choosing Mitt Romney or somebody like that. This is a good time to let them know you make the decisions and not them. They get permission from you, not the other way around.

You are a man of Honor and dignity, you and Mike Huckabee showed the world how two civil humans can act with morals on the world stage. Both of you would make a great Republican ticket.

Thank you for your time and good luck.

Don’t count Mike Huckabee out of the vp spot. I don’t believe Washington would be wise to underestimate Mike again!! This man started a swell of ground movement support and we are still working for him. He is not off the radar screen for the vp spot, far from it. McCain is known for being a maverick and being his own man, that’s what has gotten him so far. Huckabee and McCain have the exact same character and tenacity that has allowed them to be the last two men standing and McCain will choose him if he is half as smart as I think he is. Huckabee has the experience, ideas, consistent conservative beliefs that have given millions of Americans hope for a better country for the next generation! He can help McCain generate enthusiasm for our party, unite us and get us actually knocking on doors and making gotv calls. That’s what it will take for a win in November.

Mike fills in where other Republicans are weak. Many complain that Republicans and conservatives, alike, are only for the corporate giants and the poor. Mike is a strong convservative Republican (you never have to guess how he will vote) who is for the poor, who is (truly) for balancing the budget - he did it in Arkansas, who has strong Christian values and stands by them, he has ingenuity to solve difficult problems (i.e. FairTax plan), he has no one in pocket who will try to tell him what to do once in office (and I can’t say that about the other 3 candidates), he is honest, he has a strong positive attitude and he loves America. Without Mike, I don’t know how McCain thinks he will win the election without uniting the Republican party.

Unfortunately, Huckabee suffers from the same defect as many on the “religious right” - and for those of you who are sensitive, I don’t use that phrase in a disparaging way - he believes in government as an activist instrument. That is, rather than taking the libertarian tact of less government and more freedom, he uses government in the same manner as liberals, but to conservative ends. Seems like a great way to get things accomplished, but he who lives by the sword will die by the sword.

Unfortunately, Nick, you do not understand the connection between “religious” morals and a strong foundation that has enabled our country and our freedom to succeed. If (religious) morals do not matter, then we could elect just about anybody…..imagine some of the names on THAT list. I am not being sensitive, I am just not feeling defective.

Oddly enough, coming from slightly left of center, I like Huckabee and wish that he had been the Republican candidate instead of the schmoozing, ancient crony that the local fascists will attempt to install in November.
The Colbert “bump” was a miracle to behold …

Reliable sources say that on April 15th at exactly 12:00pm Mike Huckabee’s web site and John McCain’s web site will merge into one. This will be the official announcement that John McCain and Mike Huckabee are running on the same Republican ticket as President and Vice President of America.

The Gold star in the center of Mike Huckabee’s countdown timer is the same star John McCain uses. It is said McCain’s name will scroll to the top of the star and Huckabee’s name below the star to form the alliance.

Sources say McCain’s admiration of Huckabee’s Honor and Integrity sold him on the fact to choose Mike as his running mate. In the military, John McCain’s is the military, and Honor and Integrity are the most desireable character traits one can achieve.

In particular John McCain was impressed of Mike Huckabee honor and integrity during the primaries. Back in late December McCain and Huckabee formed an alliance against Romney to force him out of the race. McCain has lauded Huckabee as “a man of integrity, honesty, and decency.” And Huckabee has praised McCain as “a true, honest-to-God American hero.”

April 15th was choosen to symbolize the new alliance between McCain and Huckabee of taking on the Financial Recession which parallels to the Financial Tax due date in America.

Mike Huckabee is scheduled to be in NY city during this announcement on April 15th to again symbolize the Financial Recession and Wall Street Financial activity.
