State Sen. Chris Koster’s political credentials may still prompt debate, but there’s no question that he’s bringing in the bucks.
Koster, D-Harrisonville, reported today that he had $1,011,453.89 in the bank (and a $200,000 loan). Even with the latter taken into account, Koster outpaced his rivals in both parties.
Here’s the tallies (money raised is entire total, and not just for the period):
State Sen. President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, R-Kirkwood: Raised $828,998.50, spent $367,926.50, $440,321.26 in the bank.
State Rep. Margaret Donnelly, D-Richmond Heights: Raised $753,832.40 ($164,003 since Jan. 1), spent $154,315.35, $631,441.42 on hand.
Rep. Jeff Harris, D-Columbia: Raised $609,943 ($162,339 since Jan. 1), spent $250,416.08, $460,120.12 in the bank.
Koster: Raised $1,989,647.14 ($610,385 since Jan. 1), spent $782,438.21, $1,011,453.89 on hand. Debts: $200,000.
