Name-dropping may not signify endorsements

Looking at all the high-powered names hosting Republican Gina Loudon’s fundraiser this Thursday, you might think she had the nomination sewed up in the 7th District Senate race.

For example, co-hosts of the event include President Pro Tem Mike Gibbons and Majority Leader Charlie Shields. Nineteen additional legislators and a bunch of local luminaries also are listed.

But Gibbons, for his part, isn’t making an endorsement. His spokeswoman, Farrah Fite, said Gibbons has offered to headline fundraisers for all three Republican candidates in the race. The other two are Reps. Jane Cunningham and Neal St. Onge.

“He’s lending his support, if that helps them, equally,” Fite said.

The event Thursday is hosted by Amy and Mark Dunn at Dunn & Miller PC in Chesterfield. Donations sought range from $100 for a guest to $675 for a “platinum sponsor.”

There’s at least one co-host who won’t be neutral: Loudon’s husband, John Loudon, who holds the Senate seat now and is leaving because of term limits.

Too bad she’s COMPLETELY UNQUALIFIED, and has a huge mountain to climb when it comes to both Neal St.Onge and Jane Cunningham’s war chests.

Sad that the Loudon’s just can’t seem to let it go. Maybe she’ll inadvertently try and legalize abortion like her husband did through deceit and stupidity

LET IT GO LOUDON YOUR TIME HAS PASSED

Good stuff how the Post is trying to sway people’s opinions in the 7th away from Cunningham through bias article after bias article.

The Post should learn that conservative voters like those in the 7th will do the opposite of what the Post tells them to do and they just keep giving her publicity.

The Post should look at both Jane and Neal’s Host Committees. They have the same names on them… almost every single one.

How can St. Onge still be running he owes a ton of money to St.Louis County for back taxes.

Please, please, oh, please wing-nuts in the 7th district! PLEASE do vote for Jane Cunningham in the primary. We really need her continued mediocre, biased, smarmy presence in Jefferson City. Do not be taken in by the PD’s perceived biases in this race. Jane Cunningham is the anointed one!!

Props to the first poster who posted the video http://www.firedupmissouri.com/node/7019 it’s hilarious!!

It’s funny how she is supposed to back up kids who are different with the anti-bulling bill, but yet she was very immature and irresponsible when she basically bullied them out of her office because they were different!

Jane Cunningham is a B and a hypocrite!

She kicked them out because they were unprofessional little liars. You forget that it had nothing to do with them being gay or different. It had everything for them stating they were constituents to get a meeting, and then admitting they live in Kansas city.

She’s Chair of the Education Committee in the House…..That gives them every right to lobby her on an anti-bullying bill. Jane was the unprofessional one.

And to think I mistook that wide-eyed (constant) look of surprise as the astonishment Cunnlingham must feel every day when she confronts the reality that she doesn’t think like everyone else (outside the 7th, apparently). Plastic surgery. I should have known.
