Page draws on medical, West County roots

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

State Rep. Sam Page - the Democrat running for lieutenant governor - banked $152,000 in the last three months, his campaign report shows.

Page, an anesthesiologist from Creve Coeur, relied heavily on other physicians, collecting thousands from doctors around the state.

Page’s campaign reflects his west St. Louis County ties, as well. We’re told that his advisers include Annette Kolis Mandel, the former mayor of Creve Coeur.

He also advertised in the Jewish Light and appears to have at least one campaign worker observing the Jewish laws of kashrut - his “volunteer” expenses include food from Kohn’s Deli on Old Olive Road, one of the few true kosher eateries in the area.

That’s great … but he doesn’t have his name on the time and temperature number.
