Time for an ex-AP reporter support club?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
First Scott Charton. Now Paul Sloca. The former AP reporter turned mouthpiece for the Missouri Republican Party is no longer the communications director for the state GOP. Party executive director Jared Craighead said Sloca resigned to pursue other opportunities.
Sloca says that “After five solid years it is time for a change.”
Both Charton, who’s leaving the University of Missouri, and Sloca, are former AP reporters in the Capitol bureau.

“Sloca says that ‘After five solid years it is time for a change.’”
Since Paul spent more than a year being paid by taxpayers as a spokesman for Gov. Blunt and the Dept. of Economic Development during the middle of this “five solid years,” this statement certainly was refreshingly candid in its admission that, with the Blunt administration, it really has been all politics, all the time.
Thanks for the brief glimpse of honesty on the way out the door, Paul.
Another smooth move by Jared Craphead. Running off one of the best in the business. I hope Sloca actively opposes Craphead’s guy Brad “I hate St. Louis” Lager.
That will be a campaign worth watching.
