Watch State of the City live on the net

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Mayor Francis Slay’s State of the City address today at 10 a.m. can be viewed live via the Internet thanks to the streaming broadcast from Channel 10, STL TV.

As we mentioned earlier, a turbulent year at City Hall could make for an interesting speech.

Special guests are expected to include the new majority owners of the Rams, Chip Rosenbloom and his sister Lucia Rodriguez, who will accept a resolution honoring their late mother, Georgia Frontiere, who left them the team when she passed away earlier this year.

If the past is any indication, Slay will probably post a copy of the speech on his website just before he delivers it in person.

Seemed like a good speech to me. Not a big deal though.

I watched on-line and then read Mr. Wagman’s article.

Why does Mr. Wagman insist on mentioning the former firechief all of the time? Is he working for the county people that protested the mayor? This is a non-issue. My 15 year son has had one job in his life and he even understands to follow orders from you superior. If I didn’t listen to my boss and he desciplined me would Mr. Wagman write about that?

I am happy I moved into the city but I am growing tired of the same characters complaining.
