While his siblings were out running for office, Tom Carnahan was busy harvesting the wind — literally.

Carnahan, younger brother to Congressman Russ Carnahan and Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, is the founder of Wind Capital Group, which builds wind turbine farms that generate energy.

One of the firm’s most notable achievements is fueling, if you will, Rock Port, Mo., the nation’s only town powered completely — from computers to traffic signals — by the power of wind.

Recently, ABC News visited the town, located in the far northwest corner of the state, for a piece on their nightly news that aired this week.
