Gephardt, Robin Carnahan make headlines on The Huffington Post

Sunday night’s version of The Huffington Post had a couple interesting Missouri connections:

A) Missouri Secretary of StateĀ Robin Carnahan writes a featured blog post about her objections to the proposed constitutional amendment mandating a government-issued photo ID. The New York Times also weighs in on the controversy;

B) Conservative columnist William Kristol predicts that former U.S. Rep. Richard A. Gephardt, D-St. Louis County, will be Democratic presidential frontrunner Barack Obama’s choice for VP. (Interesting idea, especially since Gephardt has been campaigning for months on behalf of Hillary Clinton.)

Robin Carnahan is showing her true colors when she deals with the Huffington Post. They are as far left as you can get, and shows their hate for this country.

If the photo ID she is against, is for voting, she must be endorsing cheating.

The Huffington Post is right up there with the ACLU. This isn’t news but garbage and what else would you expect from the Post Dispatch.

The preceeding posts show what a pathetic mess the “conservative” movement has become. From the forthrightness of Bill Buckley and Barry Goldwater, the GOP’s fallen to the level of these drooling rants. This is what’s left of the Republican base, which is why the Dems will roll over them this November. The right-wingeras are morally and intellectually bankrupt, so they’re reduced to posting drivel.

I am embarressed for our state that our Secretary of State has stooped to such a level and actually allowed her position to be used by the lunatic left-wing fringe. Of the three preceding posts, I would suggest the WarDog’s is the most “drooling” and I would suggest rabid. Robin is toast in the next election.

Strong words Wardog (post #3)

Perhaps you could help us poor ignorant souls on the right (yes, WE have souls… you mileage may vary)understand todays world.

Just what new ideas does the left have these days?

-Over tax the most productive of our economy, so that the fruits of their success can not be re-invested.

-Cut and run on a war just now being won

-Take away all freedom of choice by nationalizing 25% of the nation’s economy thus making everyone dependant on the government for basic healthcare.

Please tell us what these new ideas are! I hear the shouts of “CHANGE!” in the air yet when I look I see the same tired, failed liberal programs.

I think this encapsulates what the left has to offer, tsquare….

‘My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it.’ — Barack Obama

WarDog is absolutely correct. The other commenters can’t deal the substance of Carnahan’s post - they can only whine about how the Huffington Post is some sort of far left fringe outfit. And that’s why they are going to get rolled in November.

It is utterly amazing how the left can twist what has been said, or interpet it bass ackwards. I know they have brain cells missing, but WOW.

If Kristol thinks Gephardt will be Obama’s choice then it is a safe bet that Gephardt won’t be Obama’s choice. It is amazing that Kristol has a job analyzing politics given his track record of nearly always being wrong. He also scoffed at the idea that there would be violence in Iraq between the Sunnis and Shiites.
