Kinder on Obama: Not the man for my hometown

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder’s campaign was tickled that his comment today about Barack Obama — visiting Kinder’s hometown of Cape Girardeau in a short while — was picked up by the New York Times today.

The Times quoted Kinder as calling Obama “the hardest left candidate ever nominated for president of the United States.”

In a blog item at TeamKinder.com, the lieutenant governor added to his critique of the Democratic front-runner, saying that Obama could not capture Missouri in the general election.

“Also remember, as many of you do, that Barack Obama told his liberal friends not too long ago in San Francisco that folks like those in Southeast Missouri were bitter and clinging to our Second Amendment rights and our religion,” Kinder wrote. “I am sure that Southeast Missourians will have a lot to say to Barack Obama about those elitist comments, and many other issues as well.”

Listen below to a clip from the conference call Kinder had with Republican U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson and Missouri Republican Party Chairman Doug Russell.

Si,

One must take into consideration that the telephone call to Planned Parenthood to donate money for abortions of Black babies was a set-up, and the off guarded actions of a in-take telephone operator caught off guard. Planned Parenthood do not go out seeking donations to abort Black babies.

All these anti-abortion driven causes by Christians and the Right are man’s idea and not God’s way of doing His will on this earth. Not only did I state the fact that Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood as a way exterminate the Black population, but I also stated, due to the fact that our government was well aware of Margaret Sanger views and reasons, and the fact that abortions were funded by the government, our American government shared these same goals to rid of the Black population through abortion of Black babies in America.

You see, I at one time considered myself pro-abortion. However, I am not pro-abortion today. Abortion stopped being an option for me.

The way I see it is that Planned Parenthood offer services to people who are very much in the world and whose lives are not focused on God’s will, nor pleasing God. They are in the world and do not know God, much like I was at a different time in my life.

By God’s grace and mercy, my heart was convicted. I begin to change. God did not speak to me about abortions, but about me, my life which was not pleasing to Him in His sight. Very disturbing when you must look at yourself through the eyes of God. Was not pretty and our transformation is a continuous work until the day we die according to scripture.

The beginning of my change came about by hearing God’s word, and my beginning to learn about Him and desparately seeking Him. My heart was changed.

Stopping abortions, overturning Roe v. Wade does nothing to change hearts. Only God can change hearts and I believe through His word as scripture teach us. It neither further God’s Kingdom, nor teach people about His mercy and grace.

You ask, how does it feel to be a associated with a party with such racism?

Si, I would have to get out of the world by way of death to get away from racism in our world and in this country. Here in America, it crosses all part lines. By the way, I am a Independant.

There are also many who visit these blogs right now who share Margaret Sanger’s same racist views. The only thing one can hope for is that God will convict the hearts of many when hearing His word.

Lastly, how do you suggest one should respond to pp due to the fact that it was built upon a morally corrupted foundation?

How do you suggest one should respond to America since it was built upon a morally corrupted foundation?

I will allow God to judge these things and concern myself with following the teachings of Christ.

D-, GREAT job of dancing around the question, terrible job of answering it.

If the government supports black genocide by supporting PP, wouldnt a Obamessiah presidency be guilty of the same thing?

Ok, so PP doesnt call you up and ask for a donation to commit black genocide, but they employ people who have no problem with it? So its OK for them to hire racists as long as they dont take a racist position?

So you’re an independent who supports a candidate who represents a party that appears to be loaded with racists and keeps electing a former Grand Kleagle of the KKK to the Senate!

Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum,

If only life was as simplistic as you are attempting to make it. That was what pp was founded on in it’s beginning. I do not think that same motivation holds true today. So no, I do not feel that I am supporting a candidate who supports an organization that supports Black genocide.

I realize however that it is an organization that service most who are living in darkness separated from God, but I realize that I do not have any God given right to FORCE my Christian beliefs upon any of them. I am certain like myself of these same ones will be called by God and hear His call and repent and turn their hearts to Him. I will not pass judgement on any of them.

The time to fight and pass judgement was when pp was first founded by Margaret Sanger and pushing for such services with such evil racists and warped motivations but the majority of Americans, our government and courts did not because they thought the genocide of Black babies and those who they found unacceptable was a great idea.

The recent incident, I do not think that it was racism that motivated that employee at pp, but more motivations of ambition. I do not condone how the worker responded. I do not think that she thought it mattered because I think that she just wanted to collect the donation and certainly did not care because she knew it would never be set aside just for aborting Black babies.

Si, I do not think that I or anyone should attempt to force our wills or even things that we are sure of being correct upon other people. That is what happened with the crazed evil fanatics such as the Crusaders and others such decived groups claiming that are followers of Christ, but who were deceived by deceiving evil spirits thinking that they were doing good for the world and defending God and all that is good.

You say that I am supporting a candidate who represents a party that appears to be loaded with racists and keeps electing a former Grand Kleagle of the KKK to the Senate!

As I said before, I would have to leave this world to be free evil people.

You do realize that the African American part of Obama will and is bringing out the racist demonic spirits in great force from within as many of those who are game,(those who do not have clean hearts), don’t you?

Then there are those who are truly racist devil operatives here on earth and those who love to sow inequity. These are truly the children of Satan and they will always go on being evil.

Si, You have better be careful because you just never know when God will stop giving you the opportunity to seek Him in truth and harden your heart, where then you will become Satan’s child or leave thius earth in your present state.

No one should be surprised by anything that has happened or that is happening within the Democratic party because of having a Black presidential candidate. But, thank God that there are enough people in this world who desire to be good, fair and sensible and who are not ignorant racists.

Hope that this answer you question, if not, I do not know how to make in anymore clear to you.

Folks we were talking about Kinder and his drum banging. When the talk goes to abortion it rarely comes back to issues people can make progress on.

First Obama’s statement didn’t mention Southwest Missouri - he said Pennsylvania. Kinder still must be using the same old plan that worked so well in Missippi on Tuesday. Exagerate, mis-quote, lie and play on people’s fear.

Republican financial supporters should require these candidates put their own money where their mouths are make a nice big loan to their campaigns and see how much you really believe that this tired tactic is going to payoff no November.

With gas is now $4.00/gal I don’t care what words Obama chooses to try to communicate the American people. You can try to understand someone (as that is the point of communication), or you can look for ways to be offended. Either way you will be successful.
