State Rep. Rachel Storch, D-St. Louis, reports that she and other supporters of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., for president also have been phone calls on her behalf to Democrats in North Carolina and Indiana.
A group of supporters also have traveled to Indiana to go door-to-door for Clinton, Storch said.
She added that the message in the phone calls has centered on the theme “that she’s strong on the economy and more experienced,” than Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.
Storch had been Clinton’s state director during the Missouri campaign leading up to Super Tuesday on Feb. 5. Since then, Clinton and Obama have closed their Missouri offices.
The victor will likely reopen shop in the state after the August presidential convention in Denver, Colo.
