Slay still thinks Clinton belongs on the ticket — somewhere
Mayor Francis Slay’s early endorsement of Hillary Clinton may not have been the consensus choice at City Hall, where many other officials sided with Barack Obama, the senator next door.
But it would be tough to challenge Slay’s loyalty.
As an increasing number of Democrats side with Obama as the inevitable nominee, Slay last week reiterated his support for Clinton.
“I am a delegate to the Democratic National Convention pledged to Hillary Rodham Clinton,” Slay wrote on his website. “I have endorsed her and I remain strongly committed to her candidacy for president.”
But what if Clinton’s long-shot bid for the nomination falls through? Slay still believes she belongs on the ticket — even if it’s not at the top.
“Senator Clinton has demonstrated the leadership, grasp of issues, compassion, and toughness to serve as the nation’s commander in chief,” Slay writes. “Those are essential qualifications for president - and also, therefore, for vice president.”
Slay: Still a Clinton backer

Slay is right!
Hillary should be at the top of the ticket - she gives us the best chance to win in November!
