Trade ‘em if you got ‘em.

He’s turning to trade, which he doesn’t have as much support on. He talks about “missour-ah farmers” and World Wide Technology needing trade.

“Trade policy ought to make it easier for you to enter foreign markets.  Opening up markets is good for our economy.”

He’s pressing for the Columbia free-trade agreement despite “consternation in Washington.” He says Congress is irresponsible for “turning our back on a very strong ally.”

He says Columbia needs the trade agreement to deal with FARC, a militia group. He says not passing the deal would send a bad message to other allies.

He doesn’t mention the record of labor and human rights, and concerns among both Democrats and Republicans that free trade agreements benefit wealthy businesses and corporations unfairly.
