I had seen this last week when it first came out and thought it worth a laugh but wasn’t sure if it’d go anywhere. 

Well with a seemingly quiet weekend in national politics — it was Mother’s Day, people — Fox News devoted a little time to Obama Girl’s latest crush: Democratic Senator and Libertarian candidate Mike Gravel. I particularly like Neil Cavuto’s “major new political alliance forming at this hour” intro. 

The backstory: With the Obama girl schtick having been so successful, the folks at Barely Political, a pol humor web site, essentially contracted Gravel to do a little song and dance number, on the theory that he was courting her vote. 

For the video, Gravel actually “learned” Superman dance created by the teenybop annoying rap phenom Soulja Boy. I nearly fell out of my chair.
