It doesn’t matter your political party, if you’re interested in politics, you’re eyes are probably on Indiana.
The outcome, of course, could change the face of the Democratic race between Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Or not.
But seeing how Missourians voted three months ago and we can only watch from the sidelines, here’s a little of the buzz from the Hoosier state, as folks there head to the polls.
- Turnout, like everywhere else thus far, seems to be on steroids.
- The race in Indiana is a nail-biter.
- There are a number of reports about Republicans voting in the Democratic Primary. NYT earlier said some were won over, some are up to mischief. LAT questions whether Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” is working. Political Fix has heard anecdotally from GOP lifers there that they indeed plan to cross.
- IndyStar keeps an eye on it all.
- And just for good measure, Limbaugh (video below) sets Fox News straight: Hillary Clinton has momentum, but his source says her campaign says their internal poll says she might lose. And by the way, he thinks Obama gets the nomination in the end.
