Florissant mayor backing Harris for AG
State Rep. Jeff Harris, seeking the Democratic nomination for attorney general, has added another name to his roster of St. Louis-area supporters: Florissant Mayor Bob Lowery.
“We can count on Jeff Harris to work with law enforcement to make sure they have the tools, resources and the backup they will need to keep our communities safe whether that’s on the street or online,” said Lowery, who was previously the police chief in Florissant.
Harris, from Columbia, has actively sought support in and around St. Louis, poaching on the territory of Democratic rival Margaret Donnelly of Richmond Heights. Other local advocates include St. Louis Treasurer Larry Williams, Sheriff Jim Murphy and former Mayor Vince Schoemehl.

Jeff is getting support throughout the state. He got the CCP endorsement is Kansas City last night and he has most of the endorsements in rural Missouri.
Could it be they dont like intelligent women? Not sure I would consider any of these men progressives. maybe schoemehl.
Maida Coleman the top democrat in the Senate is also supporting Jeff. She is from St. Louis and she is progressive.
Well that clinches it for me. Gibbons it is!

PS Hey Bob you got your gun on ya or does your wife have it?
Would you care to expound on your comment dudley, or are you content with making ridiculous innuendos?
This has nothing to do with Donnelly being a woman. She is a very intelligent woman, but that doesn’t automatically make her the best choice to be AG. Harris deserves this endorsement. He has the legislative and AG experience necessary to effectively run the office. Harris has the widest range of support of any candidate ranging from Kansas City to St. Louis. He’s shown he can go into Koster and Donnelly’s bases and grab support. Harris is the best choice and he will serve the people of Missouri well. (cue attack from Jasonb/Jack)

I would be glad to.
Back during the concealed carry debate Bob made a big deal of saying he didn’t carry a gun so why would any citizen need one.
Well one day he and his wife are shopping downtown and his wifes purse gets stolen. He reports that it is stolen with his revolver in it! This was all reported in the post dispatch. Now he said he didnt carry a gun so was it his wifes gun?
At the veto ceromony for the ccw bill I yelled this question at Bob “Hey Bob you got your gun on ya or does your wife have it?” He had to be restrained by his two (armed) body guards while we all had a good laugh
Hope that helps you out
