Hulshof announces anti-crime package in Clayton
Missouri gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof introduced a crime package this afternoon at a campaign stop in Clayton that would focus on Internet crimes, “truth in sentencing,” illegal immigration and prescription drug abuse.
“It is the duty of government to keep us safe, but with the Internet, it seems as if law enforcement is always playing catch-up with cutting-edge technology,” said Hulshof, a Republican from Columbia now serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.
He said he would seek federal funds to form a cyber crimes task force. Hulshof also proposed the “blending of law enforcement resources” to stop all crimes, and the coordination of pharmacy computers to thwart prescription drug abuse.
Joining Hulshof at Memorial Park behind the St. Louis County administration building was state Rep. Bob Onder, R-Lake St. Louis, a candidate for Hulshof’s seat in Congress. Onder was the sponsor of the state’s new immigration reform law, which includes measures that crack down on employers who hire illegal workers.

I heard Hulshof has fired Scott Baker and is going to hire Rich Chrismer to replace him? Could that be true? Rich was the mastermind of the Scott Eckersly document dump that forced Blunt not to seek a second term. Surely Kenny wouldn’t hire a future felon to work for him?????
