Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder quickly obtained the resignation of his chief of staff today following the news that Eric Feltner was indicted in Cole County Circuit Court on misdemeanor charges of providing  pornography to a minor.

Here is Kinder’s statement:

JEFFERSON CITYLt. Governor Peter Kinder today issued the following statement: “This morning shortly after 11:00 a.m. my Director of Communications notified me of inquires to my office regarding the filing of charges against Eric Feltner. At my immediate request, Mr. Feltner delivered to me his letter of resignation as Chief of Staff of my office. “At no time was our office notified of this alleged misconduct by a member of my staff. While these allegations have yet to be proven, I feel that even the appearance of impropriety on such a disturbing scale cannot be tolerated. I have made it clear to my staff that I will not accept even the appearance of this type of troubling behavior by anyone in my office. “Within an hour of my learning of these charges, and at my direction, an immediate internal review began of Mr. Feltner’s state email account, state computer and any other electronic mediums by the state Office of Administration. “As this is an ongoing legal matter, I and my office will cooperate fully with authorities in this matter.”

Where is Hulshof’s response? Feltner worked for him for years. Did he know about all this? How long has it been going on?

Hulshof should stay out of it. Feltner hasn’t worked for him for years.

Let me make sure I have this. This happened about a year ago and it is now being charged? Wonder how KInder was able to keep it quiet for so long and if he knew about the arrest beforehand? Awful odd that Kinder “knows nothing”(ie- Colonel Klink)but this has been going on for a year-someone please look into Kinder’s knowledge on this. I am about done with the Repubs opportunity to govern-what a joke.

Many are praying regularily for the light to shine exposing all the perverts and corrupt ones in our government and courts. There are many many still to be exposed.

Could knowledge of all the perverts in government be the reason for Gov. Blunt now wanting the death penalty for child rapist? To attempt to place him far apart from these types who are so close to him and right under his nose?

if Kinder knew he was doing this and/or the police involved Kinder then one of two things would have happened.

1) The police would have charged Kinder or other members of his staff.

2) Kinder would have been upfront that he had been cooperating with police.

Liberals always seem to think that every republican leader knows everything about the lives of every employee and when they get in trouble they obvious knew and covered it up. But when a democrat employee gets in trouble oh well obviously the democrat leader never would have known anything.

Do you honesty sit there in your warped mind and believe that a man running for a statewide office who someday wants to be Governor would knowing keep a pervert who tried to pick up 13 yr olds on his staff? Think about it for one minute before you open your pie hole.

rockslide,

Certainly, you couldn’t be so naive. People who hold offices do such all the time, and many themselves have skeletons of their own hidden in closets.
