In a race to represent staunch West County GOP territory, State Senate hopeful Gina Loudon has scored a victory with the support of one of the state’s largest anti-abortion groups.

Missouri Right to Life is endorsing Loudon in her competitive three-way Republican primary for the district that includes Chesterfield.

Loudon is vying to replace her husband, State Sen. John Loudon, who is being forced out by term-limits.

She’ll face State Rep. Jane Cunningham, who has received the support of conservative favorite John Ashcroft, and State Rep. Neal St. Onge, who has pushed his experience as head of the House Transportation Committee.
