I was reading Retired General Wesley Clark’s article which he says that John McCain doesn’t have Commander In Chief, National Security Advisor qualifications, no executive responsibility experience, etc.
I kept reading to see if he would enlighten me to Barack Obama’s experience/qualifications as a Commander In Chief, National Security advisor and executive qualifications.
Obama’s experience was not highlighted, all I heard was “CHANGE” once again. Again, will somebody please tell me what changes Obama is proposing and what he stands for as President and Commander in Chief of our Armed Foreces.
Ret. SGM TC - Your problem is that instead of hope, and change you can believe in, you have embraced the cynicism of the far right. Sure, Mr. Obama has only been a senator for a few years. Sure, Mr. Obama has never served as executive of anything. Sure, Mr. Obama is a hard-left ideologue who only reaches across the aisle to slap people. But we have to get the troops out of Iraq before the country is stabilized, and we have to put a lid on domestic oil production while prices are still high. We need to take the private healthcare system which has produced the vast majority of life-saving innovations and put it in the hands of government employees. We need to take the money saved by the most productive people in society and transfer it to those who will not work. And if you weren’t a right-wing cynic, you’d know that everything Obama says is true, and that everything that McCain says is a lie. And if you don’t believe it, ask D. Walker or Tim Hogan.
RE: SMOKING BAN SURVEYS
All you tin-foil hat conspiracy nuts are right!!! Non-smokers (large majority of the population) LOVE SMOKE!! They secretly love coming home from a night out smelling like an ashtray. They also love the aromatic smoke wafting through their nose during meals. Casinos?? What self respecting non-smoker doesn’t love having smoke blown in their face with hundreds of dollars on the line? Why shouldn’t young people working as wait staff through college have to breathe customers’ deadly second-hand smoke? I mean if they wanted a safe clean environment they’d work at a McDonalds or WalMart right?
It is too bad that in this day and age all of the smokers (backed by millions and millions of lobbying dollars of convenient stores and tobacco companies) have to put up with NON-PROFITS helping non-smokers have a voice. Fortunately it isn’t dependent on a robot-voice stick you pop in the cancer created hole in your throat.
Correction: uh, that’s “convenience stores”, although they are convenient.
Reasonable Man, I wonder if you consider this money well spent.

The American Cancer Society wastes money on this sort of BS while ignoring the spike in lung cancer cases in never smoking women, an increase that cannot be reasonably attributed to secondhand smoke exposure.
It’s obvious Nick really appreciates all the previous experience and sober leadership the successful businessman from Crawford Texas has provided the American people and the American economy. I’m sure with Nick’s miraculous insight, he saw it coming. Thanks for the advice Nick. Let’s stick with your conservative wisdom. Any family members serving in Iraq?….Didn’t think so. What’s in your wallet? Time to fill my Exxon tank.
