Afternoon of endorsements: McCain gets his from biz
Sen. John McCain just released a long list of Missouri small business folks who are backing him this fall.
“Small businesses are the engine that keeps our economy growing, and the support of so many small business leaders is a telling sign that McCain is taking the right approach to fixing our economy,” said McCain’s MO-Co-chairman Jack Jackson.
I’ve posted a sampling of the list of businesspeople below. Some of these folks appear to be independent business people, and of course at least one, GOP State Rep. Dwight Scharnhorst, is completely predictable.

No reason to be upset, Sir, reasonable people disagree all the time in discussions of politics. What is regrettable is when reasonable people with fact based comments are challenged with unreasonable ad hominem attacks.
I would caution all of us to avoid using media interpreted public opinion polls on the streets of Gaza to judge our political officials.
Further, I lived through the Jimmy Carter presidency and speak from experience, facts, and with a sincere concern for our country and state. I am sure you do as well, albeit from the opposit side of the political spectrum.
I see several thousand dollars that Timmy generously lavished on political candidates. One only wonders the good he might have done had he chosen to help a family in need instead.
