This just in from the Missouri Constitution Party:

“The Missouri Secretary of State’s office today completed the certification process that enabled the Constitution Party to gain ballot access and to list its slate of candidates in the November election.
“ ‘This is a momentous day,’ said Constitution Party of Missouri chairman Donna Ivanovich. ‘Missouri voters will now be able to vote for candidates who place the needs of the people above party politics. People are hurting from low wages and high costs. Now they can experience a rebirth of the American dream when they elect our constitutionalists in November.’

” ‘We have a large slate of candidates running at federal, state, and local levels. My hat’s off to everyone who made this possible—the 10,000 registered Missouri voters who signed our petition and the party members who worked so incredibly hard to make this day happen.’ ”

According to the group: “Based on voter registration, the Constitution Party is the third-largest and fastest growing political party in the United States.”

This is great news for people so far to the right that even the Missouri Republican Party isn’t extreme enough. If we could just get David Duke to enter the Governor’s race, I think he’d really clear out that primary field.

Robin Carnahan took a really long time to certify those petitions. They were submitted about three months ago. The law requires local election authorities to certify the signatures from their county within 40 days of receipt of the petition copies from Robin’s office. Somebody was dragging feet.

AJH. The Constitution Party is pro-freedom. They are patriots. It is typical of a marxist to smear those who hold opposing views. The Constitution Party stands for a weak federal government, low taxes, personal responsibility and yes, Chritian values. You may not like that idea, but it means being like Christ; loving your neighbor despite his faults. Hard for you to understand, I’m sure.

If you believe that there is a gov’t deity that should be taking care of you at any particular point in your life, then you may not care for the Constitution Party.

However, if you believe in hard word, self-sufficiency, the freedom to achieve and individual responsibility, then you may find that you can appreciate the Constitution Party’s platform.

It IS just that easy.

How very sad that some pople have so little understanding of our original form of governemnt - the form of governemnt along with a free market economy that made our nation the most free and prosperous in the world - is now being equated with extemism.

If we could go back to the original Constitution and the Bill of Rights, we would be so much better off.

This is a serious time for serious participants talking about serious issues.

Clearly Chud and AJH are posers who have no real constructive input other than infancy.

Oracle:

Robin Carnahan is not a “local” election official.
