This just in from the Missouri Constitution Party:

“The Missouri Secretary of State’s office today completed the certification process that enabled the Constitution Party to gain ballot access and to list its slate of candidates in the November election.
“ ‘This is a momentous day,’ said Constitution Party of Missouri chairman Donna Ivanovich. ‘Missouri voters will now be able to vote for candidates who place the needs of the people above party politics. People are hurting from low wages and high costs. Now they can experience a rebirth of the American dream when they elect our constitutionalists in November.’

” ‘We have a large slate of candidates running at federal, state, and local levels. My hat’s off to everyone who made this possible—the 10,000 registered Missouri voters who signed our petition and the party members who worked so incredibly hard to make this day happen.’ ”

According to the group: “Based on voter registration, the Constitution Party is the third-largest and fastest growing political party in the United States.”

This is great news for people so far to the right that even the Missouri Republican Party isn’t extreme enough. If we could just get David Duke to enter the Governor’s race, I think he’d really clear out that primary field.

Robin Carnahan took a really long time to certify those petitions. They were submitted about three months ago. The law requires local election authorities to certify the signatures from their county within 40 days of receipt of the petition copies from Robin’s office. Somebody was dragging feet.

AJH. The Constitution Party is pro-freedom. They are patriots. It is typical of a marxist to smear those who hold opposing views. The Constitution Party stands for a weak federal government, low taxes, personal responsibility and yes, Chritian values. You may not like that idea, but it means being like Christ; loving your neighbor despite his faults. Hard for you to understand, I’m sure.

If you believe that there is a gov’t deity that should be taking care of you at any particular point in your life, then you may not care for the Constitution Party.

However, if you believe in hard word, self-sufficiency, the freedom to achieve and individual responsibility, then you may find that you can appreciate the Constitution Party’s platform.

It IS just that easy.

How very sad that some pople have so little understanding of our original form of governemnt - the form of governemnt along with a free market economy that made our nation the most free and prosperous in the world - is now being equated with extemism.

If we could go back to the original Constitution and the Bill of Rights, we would be so much better off.

This is a serious time for serious participants talking about serious issues.

Clearly Chud and AJH are posers who have no real constructive input other than infancy.

Oracle:

Robin Carnahan is not a “local” election official.

If the two party controlled system has given us lobbyist driven massive debt and foreign indebtedness, outsourced jobs, de-industrialized cities, an illegal invasion, undeclared war for empire, devalued currency and a nationwide deregulated market driven economic crisis; why not consider a third party that supports government limited by the Constitution. Something we haven’t seen for a long time, government of, by and for the people who still value their Independence. This time vote to restore that Freedom!
Vote Constitution Party! ConstitutionPartyMo.org

To call AJH and I Marxists and then accuse us of not being informed and making rhetorical comments lacking substance is a bit hypocritical. Empty phrases like “individual responsibility” completely devoid of context or elaboration are exactly the kind of idiotic banter that makes satire so much fun. How does your incredibly insightful political platform of “individual responsibility and low taxes” stand in the face of something like Simon’s theory of bounded-rationality…or even a Charles Dickens novel.

I’m in the Army. In the Infantry. I’d like to think I don’t have anything to prove when it comes to Patriotism. Furthermore, my time spent in combat, in Iraq, taught me about the type of team work, coordination, and grit that Americans are collectively capable of. Excuse me for believing in, not only the Constitution, but our incredible wealth of intellectual power to interpret it in such a way that society is transformed for the better. People of all faiths and creeds, be they Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, etc. all have something vital to contribute to our unending national conversation that transforms us as we transform each other.

If you’d like AJH and I to stop making fun of you, stop making it so easy. If you’d like to have a meaningful dialog, then lets do it.

Every normal American must realize this two party (dem. and rep.)destroing not only our constitution, but our nation. We have good democrats and good republicans (puppets) in Washington ,but not to many good Americans.

Chud, thou doest protest too much. I am not sure what your military experience or lack thereof has to do with any of this. Wait, perhaps you moonlight in brown shirts. Hmmm.

I am not a member of the Constitution Party but I am capable of appreciating their positions in context, unlike you.

While you fancy yourself a regular wit, I was merely calling attention to the marxist propaganda tactic employed by your comrade AJH.

By the way my jack boot-wearing-verbal adversary, I will grant you one thing. Leftist dictators are the most capable when it comes to showing how its done. No one kills like the National SOCIALIST party (that would be NAZI for you AJH) or the Party of Vladimir Lenin, Pol Pot et al - all leftists.

So I am simply calling you out for what you are doing, using the propaganda tactic perfected by Josef Goebbels, that being repeatedly accusing your adversaries of being what you in fact are. A leftist accusing Republicans of being “brown shirt” wearing fascists is classic “pot calling the kettle black.”

The legacy of Christ and our founding fathers is the Bill of Rights, a document that elevated the value of the individual for the first time in history to heights higher than the state. The Constitution Party thinks those 1st Ten Amendments have served us well. So commie, I have one question for you: Do you proudly display the flag of your father, Alger Hiss?
