Donnelly to lay out priorities if elected AG

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

State Rep. Margaret Donnelly, D-Richmond Heights and a Democratic candidate for Missouri attorney general, plans to be in Jefferson City this morning “to announce her policy priorities” for the post.

The event is slated for 11 a.m. at the state capital’s Missouri River Regional Library, 214 Adams Street.

According to a release:

“Donnelly will discuss her strategies for tackling issues that really matter to Missouri families with a focus on two main areas:

“First: consumer protection issues such as senior citizen fraud and products with unsafe chemicals.

“Second: cracking down on sexual predators that violate parole or fail to register and assessing Missouri compliance with federal mandates to sexual predator laws.”

Margaret has an incredible record of helping out the people in St. Louis that need it…she\’s been protecting families as a lawyer and social worker for decades…I for one am really excited about her campaign

This headline confuses me: “Donnelly to lay out priorities if elected AG”

So she isn’t going to lay out her priorities before the election? Only if she is elected? Seems like a backward strategy.
