Gaw goes up with ad in 9th congressional battle

Steve Gaw, the former Democratic state House speaker who’s now running for Congress in the 9th District, has launched a new TV ad.

The ad was produced by a Nashville-based political media consulting firm, Fletcher Rowley Chao Riddle, Inc.

We don’t know the markets in which he is airing the ad, so Political Fix welcomes any additional details.

Great Ad! Gaw clearly has the momentum and is pulling away from the pack in the 9th.

Baker has had two ads airing so far this race as well. why no mention of them?

Slick commercial. Much better than the wiping-the-mud-off-his-boots-one that looks like all the other male candidates’ messages thus far. Gaw apparently enjoys getting up and making flowery speeches, which should play well with some rural audiences, but Baker seems the stronger candidate in terms of substance and especially in terms of personal integrity. BTW, when are the second quarter fund-raising reports coming out?

Very nice follow up after first ad. He truly is a great speaker and CAN back up his words with the experience he has and the accomplishments he has attained for those he has represented in Missouri. Not sure what is meant by the comments about Baker having more substance and personal integrity. Gaw’s record speaks well of itself while Baker’s reflects her inexperience and her solo focus on healthcare issues
