Hulshof announces endorsement of Kinder
Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder officially endorsed U.S. Rep. Kenny Hulshof for Missouri governor today, in a move that’s been expected since Kinder pulled out of the race in February.
“I am proud today to endorse my friend Kenny Hulshof for Governor because of his solid conservative credentials that include his commitment to fiscal responsibility, good government and other policies to improve the quality of life for all Missourians,” said Kinder in a statement issued by the Hulshof campaign.
In February, Kinder made headlines when he unexpected pulled out of what was then a three-person race for the Republican nomination. The decision came at the Lincoln Days event in Springfield, a couple of hours after Kinder had walked through the hotel lobby with campaign workers cheering “Kinder for governor” behind him.
Kinder becomes the latest big-name Missouri Republican, following Sen. Kit Bond and U.S. Rep. Roy Blunt, to endorse Hulshof over Treasurer Sarah Steelman, who is also seeking the nomination.

Tony - Did Hulshof endorse Kinder or did Kinder endorse Hulshof?
Gee, Kenny has one more vote in August, whoppee!
Please someone ask Mr. Hulshof why he gave a “handslap” to Tom DeLay?
Please someone ask Mr. Hulshof how many of his “50 felony jury trials” were when he was a Public Defender?
Please someone ask Mr. Hulshof how many of the convictions he obtained from juries as a prosecutor were overturned by an appeals court due to Mr. Hulshof’s own prosecutorial misconduct?
Please someone ask Mr. Hulshof why the billions for Iraq when the Taliban and Osama bin Ladin, who hit us on 9/11, are alive and well and still hitting us in Afghanistan, and flooding Missouri with “white heroin” to support world terror?
Please save us from any more of Mr. Hulshof!
Please save us from any more of Tim Hogan!!!
I am having trouble believing this is news. Any Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor or Governor will win with nearly no effort given Missouri’s political climate — trust me.
Who cares which Republican endorses which Republican.

Tim Hogan and I may disagree on many of the fundamentals of how our government should operate, but the vile actions of Hulshof are not among them.
How many Missourians should have their freedom suspended because Hulshof found it more important to win, than to follow the rule of law?
How long should Missourians continue to pay high gasoline prices because Hulshof likes to make more money from his corn crop, or by collecting government subsidies paid by our tax dollars?
When it comes to a choice of Hulshof vs. Missouri -Missouri will lose. Kenny is too self-serving for my taste.
I would have voted for Kinder, but today, Same Page got my vote.
(I don’t vote a straight ticket. I vote for the most qualified and trustworthy person)
Hulshof is just plain bad for Missouri.
