Kinder, Hulshof to hold joint campaign newsconference on Monday
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder and U.S. Rep. Kenny Hulshof, a candidate for the Republican nomination for governor, will make a joint campaign announcement Monday in Cape Girardeau, Mo., a media advisory from Kinder late Saturday afternoon said.
The two will hold a newsconference at 9:30 a.m. at the Common Pleas Courthouse, Gazebo, 44 North Lorimier Street. The Associated Press, citing a source close to Kinder’s campaign for lieutenant governor, later on Saturday night said Kinder would endorse Hulshof at the newsconference.
The advisory gave no other details.

Maybe a little more exciting!

Poor Kenny’s like Roger Dangerfield; he gets no respect.
(Phil, it’s spelled Hulshof.)
Oops, make that RODNEY Dangerfield.
As I write this comment, the spelling of Hulshof has been changed (from “Holshof”), but there is no acknowledgement that anything was changed, making it look like it was right all along. Jo, the host of this blog, understands the importance of acknowledging errors that readers catch, and not making those readers look foolish by correcting them retroactively but letting the comment pointing out the no longer existing error stand. Apparently Phil (or whoever made the change w/o acknowledgement) doesn’t share that understanding.
Its good to see these two get together. Maybe they can discuss a joint defense strategy for their former chief of staff to combat those child porn charges.
Please get some sleep SLO.
I am having trouble believing this is news. Any Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor or Governor will win with nearly no effort given Missouri’s political climate — trust me.
Who cares which Republican endorses which Republican.

I would not vote for for someone who thinks that all the portions of the Patriot Act are good things. Another thing, if we really want change in things we must vote out all the currently elected people and not vote them a pay raise or increase in power. We need to vote people, not lawyers, in. The lawyers are just screwing the American People over. The suave political speakers are able to sway people just because they are good speakers. I don’t want a good speaker, I want someone elected who is running because they are sick and tired of the same old routine of the politicans who think they rule the people.
