League of Women Voters sets up Web tool to help voters
The League of Women Voters of St. Louis rolled out today a new Web tool called Smart Voter “that lets St. Louis area voters preview the contents of the ballots they will encounter on Election Day.”
As the release explains:
Smart Voter is an interactive website that tells an individual where his or her polling place is, what candidates are on that voter’s ballot, and what the ballot issues are.
The Smart Voter website is accessible to residents of St. Louis City and County, and St. Charles, Jefferson and Franklin counties.
Smart Voter needs only the address and zip code of the individual voter to provide the voter’s specific ballot information.
The program can be reached on the League’s website — www.lwvstl.org – with links to Smart Voter, or on www.smartvoter.org (click on Missouri).
And when the primary is over, Smart Voter in the St. Louis area will be updated for use in the Nov. 4 general election.
Printed Voter’s Guides will also be available at libraries or by calling the League of Women Voters at 314-961-6869.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization devoted to promoting an educated and empowered electorate.

Hillary Clinton supporters, if you’re frustrated over the “coronation,” not election of Barack Obama as the 2008 dem presidential nominee and want to make your voice heard, please email midwest@pumapac.org. Folks across Missouri and the country are taking a stand against the DNC’s lack of leadership. We’re scheduling meetings and events and we’d like to hear from you. Thank you, midwest puma
remember - JUST SAY NO DEAL
not to be disrespectful, but the ‘coronation’ comment was first used about Hilary, back in the beginning.
So, how do the polls see a run-off between Hilary Clinton, and Ron Paul, given that all the King’s Men can get the delegates together and have them broker a convention?
Hope springs eternal, before it goes back to sleep.
Thank you for the link to the League of Women Voters and Smart Voter.
