Michelle Obama headed to KC
The Obama family can’t seem to get enough of Missouri.
On Thursday, Michelle Obama — wife of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama — is scheduled to visit Kansas City in the morning for what’s billed as “a discussion with Missouri women…”
The event is slated to begin at 10 a.m. in the Pierson Auditorium at University of Missouri- Kansas City,
5000 Holmes Road. Doors open to the public at 9 a.m.
As a release states, “The event is free and open to the public. However, space is limited and tickets are REQUIRED. To access a ticket please visit mo.barackobama.com. ”
The presumptive nominee was in St. Louis on Saturday to address the national conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, and again on Monday when his plane developed mechanical problems.
