Apparently, all the endorsements in the Republican primary did mean something.

Treasurer Sarah Steelman just filed her quarterly fund-raising report and it pales in comparison to the other gubernatorial candidates. Steelman raised $289,000 this quarter, and unlike last quarter, there was no financial bailout from her husband, attorney David Steelman. Last quarter the Steelman’s lent the campaign $500,000.

By comparison, Kenny Hulshof raised $1.4 million this quarter and Democrat Jay Nixon raised $1.75 million.
