In a poll commissioned by the Post-Dispatch and KMOV last month, Gov. Matt Blunt was  perceived as favorable by 42 percent of respondents, with 54 percent saying they had an unfavorable opinion of him.

Blunt’s communications director, Rich Chrismer, just gave us a heads-up about a poll he released to the KY3 political blog. The poll, done by a pollster used by Republican gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof, shows Blunt’s rating higher, with 47 percent favorable and 42 percent unfavorable.  See it here:

Simple explanation. It’s summertime. It’s hot. People are thirsty. Hoosier intake of Kool-Aid rises under such conditions.

Wait till the “Muschany type Email Scandel” gets reported. Then lets see the ratings.

He’s been overseas. It’s easy to like him when he’s half a world away.

Blunt’s former communications director does a poll in the heart of the “Red-Neck Bible Belt of Southwest Missouri” which shows his former boss with a 42% favorable rating….Hey, is there any corn growing in SW Missouri this time of year?

You’re right Garrison. If they would have done the poll in the ghetto thug, welfare capital of St. Louis City , you would have had much different results.

I read the KY3 blog. Isn’t this this same polling firm that told the KY3 blog that Hulshof was going to beat Steelman by more than 10 points and he was sweeping southwest Missouri? Hulshof won by 4 and she killed him in southwest Missouri. Not a pollster I would trust.

I hope the e-mails are published soon, not only because of Dem’s thoughts but all the crap that is behind cutting Medicade, MOHELA and other similar actions that they took as a party through the Gov’s office in 05-early 07!
Then his favorable ratings will be in the single digits, hopefully, along with Hulsoff’s!

Amazedbythelunacy,

You are not truly the FOOL that you are sounding; do you truly believe that City of St. Louis is the welfare capital of Missouri? I would call it Narcissism if that is what you think.

Furthermore, there are too many Missourians with this state of mind, even our infamous Gov. Matt Blunt. These attitudes are harmful to the health of this state. This state need a healthy City of St. Louis, but certain elements of you people are too stupid to see that, but have the nerves to think that you are anymore insightful than those ghetto thug and welfare people you are referring to, how narcissistic are you?

So we all can look forward to because of corrupted hearts and senseless minds is an entire state that will suffer much and it will just like many other States in America.

By the way, ethanol and your corn farmers will not be enough to cause this state to become healthy financially or in any other way, but you can be sure that these corn grower businessmen will personally profit.
