In O’Fallon, McCain supporters encouraged to wear red
John McCain has a familiar task for his local supporters: Wear red and fill a baseball stadium.
Of course, McCain is not talking about Busch Stadium, but T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O’Fallon (home of the Frontier League’s River City Rascals), where the GOP nominee will be holding a rally on Sunday.
And the red shirts are not for Albert Pujols (MVP?), but to show a “commitment to ensuring Missouri remains a red state.”
Doors open at 2 p.m., two hours before the start of the rally.
As previously reported, the rally, just days before McCain is set to accept the presidential nomination at his party’s convention in St. Paul, will also feature former primary rivals Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney (fueling veep speculation for the latter).
Slated to attend as well is country music star John Rich, who will perform.

John Rich, country music Star, to appear in O’Fallon ! ! !
Appearing as his backup band will be John McCain (and his wife), Mitt Romney, and Mike Huckabee.
They play wind instruments, right ?
