Moolah moolah: Young Dems go big for convention party

Looking for a really big television to watch next week’s convention? 
Hook up with the Young Democrats of St. Louis, who have booked the movie screen at the Moolah Theatre on Lindell Boulevard to watch Barack Obama’s acceptance speech.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on August 28, with members of Missouri’s delegation joining in via a “live video feed” from Colorado.
“We want to recreate the same level of excitement here in St. Louis as they have in Denver,” Young Dems president Martin Casas said in a news release.
Also next week, the group will show its Show-Me solidarity by gathering at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood on Monday to watch Claire McCaskill’s opening-night speech.
