Name game: Bond dubs ticket “O’Biden”
Missouri Sen. Christopher “Kit” Bond — a man who knows all about having a nickname that sticks — may have inadvertently coined one for the Democratic presidential ticket: “O’Biden.”
Bond, speaking with former State Rep. Jack Jackson of Wildwood on a GOP teleconference today, assailed Barack Obama and his running mate Joe Biden as soft on national security.
That was intentional: It’s a theme we’re likely to hear hammered again and again next week, as the Republicans gather in St. Paul for their convention.
The unintentional part was Bond’s slip of the tongue — which he made twice — calling the Democratic tandem “O’Biden.”
Wonder if that will catch on in Minnesota?

I first heard “O’Biden” last Saturday when the ticket was announced, and that from one of the TV pundits.
O’Bond is an O’Lush…

I dub Bond “Out O’Touch”
The Senior Senator should be called O’Bond, short for Old Bond. Watch out Kit - Robin Carnahan will blow the dandruff off your saggy shoulder as she overtakes you in 2010. Go Home.
That’s not nearly as dangerous a perjorative as “McBush” - or as accurate. And how sad that the once independent maverick, Teddy Roosevelt Republican senator from Arizona has turned into a parrot of the Bush regime that, in 2000, questioned his mental fitness due to his experience in a Vietnamese prison camp. McCain once supported campaign finance reform and now he will take any ammount of money from anybody. He once opposed the Bush tax cuts to the richest Americans and now he’s in favor of extending them.
O’Biden? Oh, bother. Voters know that if they like the Bush regime, they can hire McCain.
