DENVER — Meet Rex Ryan, 18, from Wellington, Mo., a student who is the state’s youngest delegate at the Democratic Convention.

Ryan attends William Jewell College near Kansas City and is an alternate representing the Fourth Congressional district.

He got hooked on politics watching, of all things, the British Parliment on BBC. His mother was also the city clerk in the town he grew up in, Napoleon, Mo. (Don’t tell that to members of Parliament.)

Ryan, who turned the age of majority last September, voted for the first time in the February primary. (For Hillary Clinton, he tells us off-camera.)

Makes me proud to be a mother….er and Grandmother, okay! The torch passes tonight. Our families futures await. Like I told a group of high school kids this late afternoon “Don’t be on the wrong side of history.” I hope they convince their parents and grandparents.
