The repeal of campaign contribution limits sparked the most spirited remarks, with Nixon complaining that Hulshof has said he would sign the repeal law so he can’t say now that he supports limits.
The underfunded Libertarian nominee, Finkenstadt, had a simple take on the issue, quipping: “I would love to hit the limit.”
