With the next vice president of the U.S. coming to town next week, don’t miss the opportunity today to hear from the man who knows more about the office than anyone this side of the West Wing.Joel Goldstein

St. Louis University Law Prof. Joel Goldstein — a vice-presidential expert who has been quoted widely in the national press this election season –will present a noon lecture on the evolution of the position. The talk, entitled “From Throttlebottom to Cheney and Palin: The Modern Vice Presidency,” is open to the public at Morrissey Hall on the SLU campus.

Then, this evening at 7 p.m., Goldstein will be at the Women’s Building at Washington University with a slightly more colloquial presentation, (in name only, at least), “Why Should I Care Who the Vice President Is?”
