Huckabee: Will campaign for McCain in October in southwest Missouri

ST. PAUL –Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said in a brief interview Monday that he’s agreed to be in southwest Missouri a month from now to campaign for soon-to-be GOP presidential nominee John McCain.

In the Feb. 5 presidential primary, Huckabee soundly defeated McCain in much of that part of the state, although McCain won overall.

Huckabee touched on his October campaign plans at the end of an hour session with regional reporters assembled in the press center outside the convention hall.

Joining Huckabee was McCain confidant, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and McCain policy adviser Doug Holtz-Eakin.

The three met with the reporters to talk on a variety of issues. But most of the questions and answers dealt with the news of the day: the announced pregnancy of the 17-year-old daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, McCain’s running mate.

All three said the matter was a private one for the Palin family, with Huckabee saying it was “dispicable” for the press to focus on the teen.

If anything, the choice for the daughter to carry the baby to term underscores Palin’s pro-life principles, Huckabee said.

Graham contended that it was the Democrats who were steering the talk about Palin to discussion over abortion. “They’re going to take it to the social issues because the experience issue doesn’t work,” he said.

Graham also was harshly critical of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama. “I am not impressed with Senator Obama, quite frankly,” Graham said. He went on to contend that Obama had achieved little of significance in the Senate, and played to photo-ops.

Graham said that Obama has displayed little political courage and feared bucking left-wing groups like Moveon.org.

”In terms of Iraq, he’s been as wrong as you could possibly be,” Graham added.

The press is going to dig as much dirt as they can - which will be tough - on Palin, because they know she is going to be one of McCain’s greatest strengths going in to this election. And furthermore, the press has turned the other cheek on issues about Obama that are far more serious: his relationship to Bill Ayers, his pastor and “uncle” of 20 years who hates whites, Jews, and America, and so on. Americans are becoming more smart than the media, however, and I think things will change once the debates are over.

Dig up dirt, you mean like her membership in the AIP (Alaskan Independence Party) which was founded to push for Alaska to vote to leave the union? Or do you mean Troopergate? You know, where she used her position as Governer to remove a commissioner for not firing her ex-brother-in-law. Or how about her yukking it up on a local Alaskan radio station, where the DJ’s called her political rival a “Cancer”, making fun of her weight and calling her a “B****”. Oh, and by the way, the person they were referring to is a cancer survivor, but that did not stop Ms. Palin from laughing out loud and inviting these radio hosts up to come work with her. So, really the dirt is not so tough to find.

McCain is an “Israel First” puppet. His campaign of “Country First” leaves out the important part, the country his Masters are puppeting him for is Israel not the United States.

And Scott shows his true colors: whites is lowercase whereas Jews are capitalized. Jews account for less than 2% of the US population yet dominate 98% of the conversation. They’re a non-issue and need to sit in the back of the bus where they belong.
