It’s the “pot, meet kettle” moment of the day
Piggy-backing on yesterday’s Fiorina flub, I noticed another interesting statement coming out of the “lifestyles of the rich and famous” file today. It just makes me wonder: Do the wealthy donors in both parties who play a major role in deciding our next president read their own press clippings?
Today, it’s Lynn Forester de Rothschild who put her Manolos in her mouth. Forester de Rothschild, a major backer of Hillary Clinton, is apparently preparing to endorse John McCain.
Why?
She doesn’t like Barack Obama. “I feel like he’s an elitist,” she said.
So who is Lynn Forester de Rothschild?
Forester is the CEO of EL Rothschild, a holding company with businesses around the world. She is married to international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. Forester is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York.
‘Nuff said.

Perhaps lady de Rothchild does not like that a candidate’s family has 8 houses?
Or whose family has a net worth of some $500 million?
Or which has used family connections to get ahead in his career?
Or which family has swept under the rug drug addiction and felony theft?
Or which candidate when he came home from the war and found his wife crippled, dumped her for a beer baroness and the money and political backing to run for Congress and beyond?
Or which candidate mentions he knows nothing about the economy?
Yeah, I guess that guy’s elitist, eh?
What….all those things are John McCain!

Tony Messenger —
Ya’ need any help finding stories about Obama asking Iraqi leaders not to finalize an agreement vital to the future of US forces in Iraq — until after “O” is in office?
Please advise.

This just in … Lynn Forester de Rothschild explains, “I can’t possibly support Obama, since that idiot Tim Hogan is supporting him.”
Nick, that is the funniest thing ever written in the political blog! I could not have come up with anything that witty.
It’s ok her to be elite. She’s not running for anything.
It’s not ok for Obama to be an elist. We don’t elect kings in the U.S.
