Kinder camp responds to Page robo-call complaints
Earlier today, Sam Page, the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor, accused rival Peter Kinder, the Republican incumbent, of orchestrating a wave of anonymous robo-calls targeting Page last month.
Here’s a fresh response from Kinder spokesman Paul Sloca:
It is clear that Sam Page cannot talk about real issues and has no vision for the state, and it is sad that his paranoid conspiracy theories are being given any credence at all. It is also sad that Sam Page’s reckless and unsubstantiated attacks against Lt. Governor Peter Kinder are being treated as legitimate. The people of Missouri want a lieutenant governor like Peter Kinder who is in touch with reality and not someone like Sam Page who clearly is not.

It’s too bad that the Lt. Gov. office is what it is. All they really have to do is call each other names since they don’t deal with any issues to speak of.
Don’t feel too bad, Mr. Kinder - the only ones taking these accusations seriously are Jay Nixon and the Post-Dispatch. Nobody in the real world takes either one of them seriously.
Nick….and those of us who receive rovian phone calls at 11pm asking us to support Sam Page.
Ha! Something like this is not beyond Peter Kinder at all. Believe me, I know…
In fact, I’ve got a couple of cats in the bag regarding Kinder. Really should pull them out, just so people really know who’s second at the state’s controls…
Kinder needs to use these robo calls to wake us up after seeing his television commercials. The Weather Channel’s local forecast on the 8’s are more exciting.
