Live from City Hall, it’s Lewis Reed

Presiding over the Board of Aldermen’s weekly televised meetings has Board President Lewis Reed comfortable enough in front of the cameras that he is launching his own show. 
“Behind the Scenes with Lewis Reed” premieres tonight at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 10, the city’s public cable channel. True to its name, the series will feature Reed, approaching the midway point of his first term, giving viewers an insiders look at St. Louis attractions.
This week: Reed visits the Soldiers Memorial. Next episode: Forest Park.
Because what Lewis Reed needs is to puff up his ego even more.
It would be nice if citizens could watch committee hearings in addition to the half-hour campaign commercials our elected officials receive. So, we’ll be able to watch Lewis walk around sites we’ve all been to….but not Ways and Means Hearings. I can hardly wait.
