Bizzarro World e-mail of the day: Koster’s ex-wife is BACK!
Here’s the kind of e-mail you don’t see all that often on a Monday morning. The ex-wife of Chris Koster, Democratic candidate for attorney general, e-mailed reporters this morning to point out that she made a $140,000 donation to Koster’s opponent, Republican Michael Gibbons.
Rebecca Nassikas identifies herself as a homemaker from Scottsdale, Ariz., in her contribution to Gibbons. But she’s quite the wealthy homemaker. She’s also no fan of her ex-husband, the Republican turned Democrat.
In the primary, Nassikas also gave big dollars to an obscure committee that opposed Koster during his successful primary run over Jeff Harris and Margaret Donnelly.
Read more about Nassikas’ actions at Prime Buzz, which had the story Sunday night.

I read her comments. She’s FOS regarding his work in the John Robinson serial murder case. It was exemplary. If she wasn’t rich because of someone else’s money, there’d be NO STORY about $14 contribution to Gibbons. Someone should tell her shouldn’t be bitter, just better.
What person could possibly know the real Chris Koster better than his ex-wife?
And what does this say that her AND her father are willing to place such a large monetary stake in seeing him lose the election?
Something tells me there was more to that divorce than what Koster has been telling folks on the stump, and it sounds to me like it was his fault…
But wait….
In an early post, before the primary elections, little Rebecca claimed her donations to Jeff Harris and Margret Donnelly were not out of vindictiveness, but to “level the playing field”. There was absolutely to spite or malice.
I think she still loves Chris. She just wants him to win a fair election.
As a member of the first wives club and sassy pink peppers, This “lady” is bitter ugly!

I a fan of your comments on this blog and think you are generally spot on. I am not sure what you are saying here. I am a hardcore D and will vote for every D on the ticket except Koster. It isn’t because I like Gibbons. Sure he isn’t as bad as some of the Republicans but he did preside over a nasty agenda in the Senate. But I and many others who represent D causes in Jeff have had dealings with Koster and we simply don’t trust him at all. He is dangerous to us as Bill Webster was to them. Sort of ironic since he worked for Webster and during the primary Terry Ganey did a story about how Koster plagarized documents for the Webster campaign.
Who would know better what a lyin, cheatin republican he is.
