Family of Koster’s ex-wife continues to give to opposition
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Bill Nassikas
Talk about an acrimonious split: The family of Chris Koster’s ex-wife continues to pour cash into defeating his bid for attorney general.
The latest contribution comes from Bill Nassikas, who is married to Koster’s former bride, Rebecca. Nassikas — president of an Arizona hospitality firm that operates a hotel and luxury spa -- gave Koster’s opponent, Republican Mike Gibbons, $10,000 late last week.
That’s on top of the combined $230,000 Rebecca Nassikas and her father, Frank Bowman, gave to Gibbons on Oct. 3.
Rebecca Nassikas had already donated $200,000 to a group that produced an ad targeting her ex-husband in this summer’s Democratic primary.

I don’t know if I’d spend that kind of dough against any political candidate. There must be some really hurt feelings in that family.
Yeah… and the way ex-wives are it’s likely to be Koster’s own money that they are giving…
Been there, done that.
What a spiteful bunch. I was really undecided in the AG race. Seeing this kind of smear greased with the money of a rich ex-wife has just moved me to vote for Koster. He must have good judgment to ditch such a mean gal. A pox on her and her sorehead family. Live and let live - and don’t send your Arizona millions here to manipulate Missourians out of spite.
Really undecided. I doubt it.
Koster is bad for Missouri. I hope she gives a few hundred thousand more.
I was just going to leave that circle blank on my ballot because as a DEm I was a bit suspicious of Koster and would never vote for Gibbons. But after reading about this vindictive fundraising coming from out of state I’m voting for Koster. Believe It or Not. Thanks for givin me a reason Becca!!!
Interesting that you are reprimanding Mike Gibbons for taking out of state money. Here is a fun fact : look at Koster’s ethics reports and you will see that he has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from New York firms! You really should get the facts before you point fingers.
