Huckabee coming to St. Charles

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a Republican who made an unsuccessful bid for the White House this year and remains a social-conservative favorite, will be in St. Charles next Monday.
The occasion is the Vitae Caring Foundation’s 13th Annual Pro-life Benefit Dinner, which organizers say is “to raise funds for research, production and advertising geared toward abortion-minded women and those influencing/impacting their decisions.”
The event is hosted by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Pro-Life Committee.
It will be held at the St. Charles Convention Center. The reception begins at 6:30 P.M., with the dinner at 7:00 P.M. The cost is $50 per person ($25 is tax-deductible).
