Palin addresses supporters today outside a Bass Prop Shop in Springfield

The word from the Springfield News-Leader is that an overflow crowd of more than 20,000 packed the parking lot in front of the Bass Pro Shop for Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

As we get more details on her rally, we’ll add them here.

“Obama was giving away free sandwiches on a sunny Saturday afternoon in St. Louis, of course you can get 100,000 people to show especially in St. Louis.”

Most came to verify why they were NOT voting McCain/Palin. Stay in the truck, we got it…

donna,
that’s why I went to see BO at the arch. It amazes me that there are that many gullible people. Hopefully, most of them were from Illinois. I’d go see Hairplug Joe Biden too, but no one can find him. I guess he’s feverishly planning BO’s weak response to the six month attack.

Sarah never looks completely comfortable in the clothes the RNC bought her. But she always looks comfortable carrying a rifle. A lot of us in Missouri trust a lady who knows how to shoot over a gun control guy.

For those who wish to comment on the Obama rally but were not actually there. There were no free sandwiches. Honestly, I would take 100,000 to be a lowball number, the crowd was truly massive and inspiring. Plus he turned out 75,000 that night in KC. I will give Palin credit for turning out 20,000 but you have to keep your perspective.

In the last week Obama has turned out 175,000 at two events and McSame/Palin have turned out 23,000. I can’t wait for Nov. 4th.

Gosh darn Bill, you got it right! That’s the reason I vote for someone to be President-they can tote a gun!

oh also, maybe she’ll be packing that gun when she meets with world leaders-that’ll show those varmits a thing or two!

Gun control guy?
o During a February 15, 2008 press conference, Obama stated, “I think there is an individual right to bear arms, but it’s subject to commonsense regulation.
o What specifically in Obama’s platform make him a “gun control guy”?
o Please don’t reply with something like the NRA and Gun Owners Of America grade him F because neither group exhibits any common sense about gun proliferation.
