UPDATED: Palin definitely dropping another puck –this time, in St. Louis

Palin helps drop the puck at an Oct. 11 NHL game in Philadelphia
St. Louis area activists in both parties are telling Political Fix that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will head this way after Friday morning’s rally in Springfield.
Rumor has it that The GOP vice presidential nominee — who prides herself as a “hockey mom” — will stop by Friday night’s Blues hockey game, and drop the puck. No word on any other possible public events locally, if the above report is correct.
The campaign of the GOP presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain, said details would be available Thursday.
UPDATE: The St. Louis Blues has confirmed Wednesday night that Palin will be at Friday’s game, and will perform the first-dropped-puck honors.
She is going to be booed for sure. Just like in Phili. You think that they would have learned from their mistake the first time. Good work Repubs

Dave wrote, “If anything, applaud her for coming to a Blues game and not Detroit or Chicago.” I’m pretty sure that she doesn’t choose her own travel plans, and I’m absolutely positive that the GOP has already abandoned Michigan and Illinois. If there is applause to be generated here, it should be in favor of Missouri’s reputation as a swing state.
Having said that… my wife will be at Friday’s game with me. She just might out-boo everyone else in the building.

It’s evident that the Blues organization is a business and not a socialistic welfare organization. Maybe, if Obama becomes president he can socialize sports. Do you think the the Blues organization knows Obama wants to dip into their pockets? No problem, the Blues can raise ticket costs even more. I will be at that game Friday, and I will cheer Gov. Palin on until my throat bleeds. That is before Obama makes my wallet bleed.
Maybe she will do some more shopping-I will look for her at the mall!
If she never came to Saint Louis again, I would be just fine with that.

I’m OK with the “pitbull with lipstick” coming here. The election is all but decided anyway. She’s become a bit of a pop icon so I don’t mind some national attention with a 5-1-0 (hopefully) Blues team facing off against the Kings. I’m not a big fan of hers but she can’t be all bad if she likes hockey.
I think we should have Palin cut a ribbon at Plaza Frontenac, not drop pucks at places where real Americans go!
Palin got almost $200,000.00 in fix ups to her clothes, jewelry, family, hair and glasses. Has she/they paid any estimated taxes for the last quarter on this income? I want to know!
