Republican veep nominee Sarah Palinwill make her visit to Missouri since squaring off against her Democratic counterpart Joe Biden in the Oct. 2 debate at Washington University.
The John McCain campaign announced that Palin will appear Friday morning at a rally on the campus of Missouri State University in Springfield.
Palin’s visit comes as both camps continue a heated battle for the Show-Me State. On Saturday, Barack Obamaspoke to large crowds in St. Louis and Kansas City, while on Monday McCain visited St. Charles, Columbia and Belton, Mo.

We know Palin is great at rallies. But she needs to somehow show that she is smart and informed enough to be VP.

Fifty-five percent of voters say Gov. Palin is not qualified to be president if the need arises, up from 50% two weeks ago.
Lisa 12, Palin may not be fully ready to be President, yet she is the most moral member of the two tickets. I cannot vote for Obama’s promotion of abortion. That blood won’t be on my hands.
I wonder how many “real Americans” Gov. Palin talks about have the state piay for their kids’ travel and have over $200,00.00 spent on them by others for clothes, jewelry, glasses and hair styling?
Bill, it’s ok by you to kill us with smoke but, you takes shots at Obama on abortion. Just like on smoke, ya’ got it wrong!

Bill Hannegan,
Oh please. NO ONE is “promoting” abortion. On the contrary, those who are pro-choice want to do everything possible to prevent unnecessary pregnancies. Unfortunately, the “pro-life” forces are fighting us on this front every step of the way. Funding for family planning clinics? Wiped out. Comprehensive sex education in schools? They want to ban it. Requiring hospitals to offer Plan B to rape victims? They oppose it.
Tim, I read your post and much of it I agree with strongly. But I don’t understand why Obama’s support for abortion doesn’t trouble you more.
Unnecessary pregnancies? LOL Not sure what that means, but I meant to say “unwanted pregnancies.”

Palin’s spending level remains lower than Democrat Tony Knowles’ when he was the Alaska Governor.

How about:
He’s unwilling to lift a finger to protect infants from infanticide
“But Obama’s record on abortion is extreme. He opposed the ban on partial-birth abortion — a practice a fellow Democrat, the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan, once called “too close to infanticide.” Obama strongly criticized the Supreme Court decision upholding the partial-birth ban. In the Illinois state Senate, he opposed a bill similar to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which prevents the killing of infants mistakenly left alive by abortion. And now Obama has oddly claimed that he would not want his daughters to be “punished with a baby” because of a crisis pregnancy — hardly a welcoming attitude toward new life.” ~Michael Gerson
