The man who orchestrated George W. Bush’s ascension to the White House will be in St. Louis just before the nation chooses a new president.

After a heated debate, student leaders at Washington University this week approved spending $35,000 to bring master GOP strategist Karl Rove to campus on Nov. 3, according to the school paper.

In addition to a $30,000 speaking fee, the Student Life reports that $5,000 will go to security and other costs.

No details yet on time or location but, if previous speakers are any indication, attendance will likely be limited to students and faculty.
