And in St. Peters, quiet at the polls
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
More morning rush leads to evening calm: Jungs Station Baptist Church in St. Peters was quiet as polls closed tonight, reports P-D reporter Jessica Bock.
It had been a madhouse that morning.
“I’ve never seen a turnout like this morning,” said pollworker Linda Liston.
Turnout was high: 79% of the 3,609 registered voters in the precinct turned out, said polling supervisor Audrey Hercules.
