Secretary of State Robin Carnahan has issued another warning about misleading information being circulated to confuse voters.

Carnahan, the state’s chief elections official, is alerting voters to be wary of text messages that instruct Barack Obama supporters “due to long delays, to wait and vote tomorrow.”

“I have no tolerance for anyone intentionally causing confusion on Election Day,” Carnahan said in a statement. ”Every eligible Missourian should be able to cast their ballot today, and my office will immediately respond to any reports of misinformation.”

Earlier, Carnahan issued a statement decrying automated calls that were also providing false election info.

Today, Carnahan’s office provided a photo of the fraudulent text messages, which are cloaked to appear like a CNN news alert.
